ROLE
Design & build, end to end

( THE BRIEF )
Neon Records was scaling from a club night into a global streaming platform — and the old logo couldn't carry weight.
We rebuilt the brand from the name out: a flexible wordmark, a night-city palette, and a motion language that reacts to sound. The site had to sell late-night energy on a first-time visit and still feel calm enough to browse a 4,000-track catalogue.
Everything was designed, written and shipped in three weeks on one shared file — with the founding team in the room for every call that mattered, so the identity landed the day it launched, not months later.
THE PROBLEM
A club-night logo that fell apart at platform scale — no system, no motion, no voice.
THE FIX
One flexible identity, tuned for dark screens, that scales from a favicon to a festival stage.
( THE IDENTITY )
SELECTED FRAMES

How it came together.
( APPROACH — 03 STEPS )
01 — NAMING & VOICE
A language, not a logo
We wrote the verbal identity first — a lowercase, after-hours tone that runs from push notifications to billboards.
02 — IDENTITY SYSTEM
Built to bend
A variable wordmark, a neon-on-ink palette and a grid that survives everything from a favicon to a festival stage.
03 — SITE & MOTION
Reacts to sound
We designed and shipped the marketing site — type that pulses to the beat, and a player that keeps the night going.
What we shipped.
( DELIVERABLES )
They didn't just hand us a logo — they handed us a dialect the whole company now speaks.
