ROLE
Design & build, end to end

( THE BRIEF )
Soft Machine needed to make complex automation feel approachable without losing the precision that made the product useful.
We shaped the identity around a simple tension: friendly surfaces, exact behavior. The brand system uses soft geometry, quiet motion and concise copy to help teams understand what the tool does before they ever open the product.
The final launch system gave the team a sharper story, a usable design language and enough modular assets to keep shipping without reinventing the brand each week.
THE PROBLEM
A club-night logo that fell apart at platform scale — no system, no motion, no voice.
THE FIX
One flexible identity, tuned for dark screens, that scales from a favicon to a festival stage.
( THE IDENTITY )
SELECTED FRAMES

How it came together.
( APPROACH — 03 STEPS )
01 — RESEARCH & POSITIONING
From technical to useful
We interviewed internal teams and reframed the product around everyday workflow relief instead of feature density.
02 — IDENTITY SYSTEM
Soft forms, strict rules
We designed rounded primitives, restrained typography and a modular illustration language that keeps the product feeling precise.
03 — LAUNCH SITE
Clarity over spectacle
We shipped a clean launch site with product-led messaging, compact sections and conversion paths for multiple buyer types.
What we shipped.
( DELIVERABLES )
They made a hard product feel human without making it feel small.
